About the position
The Early Intervention Specialist/Service Coordinator role at Great Kids & Awesome Adults involves providing in-home family training and service coordination for children aged birth to 6 years with disabilities. The position requires maintaining a caseload in designated areas and conducting assessments to determine children's needs while collaborating with families and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of children aged birth to 6 years with disabilities.
- Provide in-home family training and service coordination on a weekly basis.
- Conduct assessments (FSP/IFSP) to determine children's needs.
- Collaborate with families, pediatricians, teachers, and other professionals to coordinate services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with 1 year of documented experience working with infants and toddlers or children ages birth to 5 years with disabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in any field with 5 years of documented experience with infants and toddlers or children ages birth to 5 years with disabilities.
- Specific degrees in Child/Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred experience/degree in psychology, child life specialist, early childhood, mental health, healthcare, or teaching.
