The Early Intervention Specialist at Empowering Families, Inc. plays a crucial role in providing developmental support to children from birth to three years of age. Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing information to parents and caregivers about child development.
- Conduct home visits to assess and support children's developmental needs.
- Plan and implement play-based interventions based on Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
- Collaborate with families to set and adjust developmental goals.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress and strategies for support.
- Document and report on developmental progress and maintain required documentation.
- Assist families in accessing resources and services as needed.
- Attend monthly training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Driver's License is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Entry-level position, suitable for recent graduates or those new to the field.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in child development or early intervention programs.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones for children aged birth to three.
