About the position

As the Early Talent Lead at GSK, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's talent strategy, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining top early talent to support GSK's ambitious goals in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. This role requires a strategic mindset and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring that GSK can meet its future skill needs and maintain high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract top early talent across GSK R&D.
  • Own the early talent demand plan to ensure the right talent is in the right roles at the right time and place.
  • Partner with the Early Talent Recruitment Team and the Enterprise Early Talent team to align plans and find synergies.
  • Lead the design and execution of early talent development programs for continuous employee growth.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through targeted initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior HR and business leaders to identify talent needs, develop talent strategies, and utilize data-driven insights for improvement.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience in talent management in the Pharma industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing talent strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and development, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in talent management or human resources (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD etc).
  • Experience with tech-enabled talent management platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of global talent trends and best practices.
