About the position
The Ithaca City School District is seeking an Earth Science Teacher for Boynton Middle School. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Earth Science classes and creating engaging and relevant materials that align with state standards. Responsibilities
- Teach Earth Science classes to students in grades 7-12.
- Create engaging and relevant instructional materials connected to state standards.
- Implement culturally responsive curriculum and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Interact effectively with students and their families from diverse backgrounds.
- Utilize digital technology in instruction and stay current with students' digital world.
Requirements
- Possess New York State certification in Earth Science grades 7-12 and/or General Science 7-12.
