About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and site management. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate and supervise daily activities on the construction site.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera and Prolog.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
  • Prepare and review construction estimates and budgets using HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide project implementation.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, budgeting, and site management.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software such as Prolog, Primavera, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job site.
