About the position

The Energy Sales Manager at South Central FS, Inc. is responsible for leading and developing the Energy sales delivery team while fostering strategic customer relationships to drive profitable growth. This role involves direct sales and relationship management with key commercial and farm accounts, focusing on energy products such as diesel, gasoline, DEF, lubricants, and grease. The position also includes the development and implementation of marketing plans to enhance market share and collaboration with various departments to maximize sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and develop the sales delivery team within the assigned territory.
  • Drive and deliver profitability sales growth.
  • Achieve Growmark Energy Management Specialist (EMS) certification.
  • Ensure all sales delivery employees understand and execute business imperatives with structured performance reviews.
  • Support the sales team with sales calls and develop relationships with the top 100 accounts in the assigned geography.
  • Co-develop and implement successful marketing plans in the assigned South Central geography.
  • Collaborate with the Energy service team to maintain and track customer & company owned assets.
  • Manage profitability of the assigned territory through target marketing and competitive analysis.
  • Foster teamwork between all South Central FS departments and TGM.
  • Ensure safety programs are part of everyday activities within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and direct sales force in collections.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle according to company standards and adhere to the uniform policy.

Requirements

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
  • Minimum college degree
  • 5-10 years of sales or marketing experience
  • Experience in leading and developing a team of direct reports
