About the position

The Athletic Coach at Eastwood Middle School is responsible for leading and developing student-athletes in various sports. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and fostering a positive athletic environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for student-athletes.
• Conduct practices and prepare teams for competitions.
• Monitor student-athlete performance and provide feedback.
• Promote sportsmanship and teamwork among athletes.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching or playing a specific sport.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Knowledge of the rules and strategies of the sport.

Nice-to-haves

• First aid and CPR certification.
