About the position

The Athletic Coach at Eastwood Middle School is responsible for leading and developing student-athletes in various sports. This role focuses on fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development while ensuring a positive and safe environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for student-athletes.
• Organize and conduct practices and competitions.
• Promote teamwork and sportsmanship among athletes.
• Monitor student-athlete performance and provide feedback.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching or playing the sport at a competitive level.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Knowledge of the rules and strategies of the sport.

Nice-to-haves

• First aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working with middle school students.
• Background in physical education or sports management.
