About the position

The EC Payroll Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing and executing payroll projects for our client in Atlanta, GA. This position requires a strong background in Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and hands-on experience with configuration tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and documenting year-end payroll processes, ensuring that all configurations are updated and accurate. This includes working closely with the client to communicate timelines for TUBS (Time and Unpaid Benefits) and other payroll-related activities, as well as creating comprehensive documentation for future reference. In addition to configuration and documentation, the EC Payroll Project Manager will assist in developing a testing plan for payroll processes. This involves updating existing test scripts and ensuring that all testing is thorough and meets the client's requirements. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes, as well as excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with the client team. This is a contract position with a duration of 4 months, and the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Atlanta, GA. The role is critical to ensuring that payroll operations run smoothly and efficiently, particularly during the year-end period, which is often a high-pressure time for payroll departments.
