About the position

The ECE Teacher (MSD) at Binet School is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering a comprehensive program of instruction tailored to students with moderate to severe disabilities. This role requires the teacher to utilize an approved curriculum while ensuring that the educational needs of each student are met. The teacher will monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records and making necessary reports to communicate this progress effectively to parents and school administration. Additionally, the teacher will enforce Board policies, regulations, and rules, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all students. Supervision of students is a critical aspect of this role, as is the responsibility for securing and maintaining school property and materials. The position is structured around a 187-day work year, with a daily commitment of 7 hours, starting at 7:30 AM.

Requirements
