About the position

As an Echo Tech at AdventHealth, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic imaging team by utilizing high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) and other non-invasive echocardiography testing equipment to produce detailed images of the heart. This position requires specialized knowledge and skills to support the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic services to a specified patient population. You will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, ensuring the quality of the images produced, and assisting in the interpretation of the results. The role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. The Echo Tech position is a temporary contract role, offering flexible assignments directly with AdventHealth, eliminating the need for third-party agency involvement. You will have the opportunity to work 36-40 hours per week, primarily during day shifts, with on-call responsibilities as needed. This position not only provides competitive pay but also the potential for extension or new assignment assistance within the AdventHealth system. If you are interested in a long-term career, there is an option to easily convert to a permanent staff member. To qualify for this role, you must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or hold a Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) upon hire.
