The Echo Tech PRN position at Medical City Fort Worth involves performing echocardiograms and assisting with specialized procedures to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform regular Echocardiograms according to established standards.
- Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms.
- Recognize and address the specific needs of patients with CAD, CHF, PVD, MI, UA, and Angina.
- Apply appropriate knowledge, skills, and behaviors in patient care activities.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered/registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (CCI). Registry must be obtained within one year from hire date.
- Graduation from an accredited Echocardiography Technology Program or equivalent experience.
- For new graduates, a minimum of six months specialized training in echocardiology is preferred.
