About the position

Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Assist in the interpretation of echocardiograms.
- Maintain records and charges related to procedures.
- Compile reports for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide patient care for patients aged newborn and up.
Requirements
- Education as required to achieve eligibility for Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (RCDS) credentials.
- Licensure as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (CCI) or eligible; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or eligible.
- Prior experience in performing cardio diagnostic and ultrasound procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Strong interpersonal communication and diagnostic testing skills.
- BLS certification; ACLS certification is desirable.
