About the position

The ECN Drafter at InVeris is responsible for revising CAD models and drawings based on approved Engineering redline changes. This role involves using CAD software to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings, while also managing documentation and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and completeness in design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Creo Parametric and AutoCAD LT to revise and create 3D models and drawings.
• Utilize Windchill PDM to control and store CAD files.
• Log and maintain the drafting workload in an Excel workbook.
• Collaborate with ECN writers to gather detailed information beyond redline changes.
• Provide feedback on drawing or redline errors and support Engineering with model and drawing creation during peak workloads.

Requirements

• Associate degree with mechanical drafting major or 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Creo Parametric modeling, assembly, and drawing environments (3 years).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD LT model space and paper space (3 years).
• Experience with Excel formulas and graphs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
