About the position

The Ecommerce Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online retail platform. This position involves coordinating the day-to-day activities of our ecommerce site, managing inventory, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the customer experience. The ideal Ecommerce Operations Coordinator candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a passion for luxury retail and ecommerce. This role will be a 12-week contract position with limited possibilities to be extended past that. In this position, you will oversee daily ecommerce operations, ensuring efficient order processing, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. You will manage inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely stock replenishment. Collaboration with the marketing team will be essential to update product listings, promotions, and content on the website. You will also monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with IT support for resolution. Analyzing sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist in the development and execution of ecommerce strategies to drive growth and engagement, coordinate with the customer service team to address and resolve any order-related issues, and maintain product data accuracy and consistency across all online channels. Finally, you will support the planning and execution of online campaigns and sales events.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce operations or a similar role, preferably in the luxury retail industry
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or similar
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for luxury goods and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Bachelor's degree is required
