About the position

The Ecommerce Website Trainer position at HH Brown Shoe is a full-time role based in Andover, Massachusetts, where the successful candidate will join the Media Lab, the innovative media services division of the Berkshire Hathaway Shoe Holdings group. This role is pivotal in enhancing the user experience and performance of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C platform across 14 e-commerce websites. The trainer will be responsible for developing training materials and courses that cater to various learning styles, ensuring that personnel are well-equipped to utilize the platform effectively. The trainer will conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for both new hires and existing employees, keeping them updated on new features and updates in SFCC. Additionally, the role involves coordinating e-commerce merchandising strategies, working closely with the marketing team to align these strategies with overall marketing goals. The trainer will analyze customer behavior and market trends to optimize product placement and promotions, ensuring that product catalogs are maintained accurately. Furthermore, the Ecommerce Website Trainer will ensure the smooth operation of the SFCC platform, troubleshooting any issues that arise and collaborating with design, software, and development teams to enhance platform functionality and user experience. This position requires a proactive approach to staying informed about e-commerce trends and technologies, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement in training and development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs for the SFCC B2C platform for various teams within the organization.
  • Develop training materials, guides, and tutorials that cater to different learning styles.
  • Keep abreast of new features and updates in SFCC and incorporate these into training sessions.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for both new hires and existing employees.
  • Help divisions to implement and monitor online merchandising strategies on the SFCC platform across the organization.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  • Analyze customer behavior and market trends to advise on optimizing product placement and promotions.
  • Monitor the maintenance of product catalogs, including product descriptions, images, and pricing, and assist as needed.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the SFCC B2C platform, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with design, software, and development teams to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce trends, technologies, and SFCC B2C updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a corporate trainer, ideally with experience in e-commerce and/or digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C is a plus.
  • Understanding of e-commerce principles and merchandising strategies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis and using tools to derive insights from e-commerce metrics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms beyond Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
