About the position

The Ecosystem Product Manager at TikTok's U.S. Data Security (USDS) division is responsible for developing strategies to enhance user experience and content quality on the platform. This role involves analyzing user insights, evaluating content distribution, and ensuring the quality of information provided to users. The position requires collaboration across various teams to optimize product positioning within the business ecosystem, with a focus on data protection and user safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies based on user insights and understanding of the content on the site, data analysis/case studies and other means
• Evaluate the match between users and needs, such as content distribution and diversity
• Assess the quality of content supply on the site, including style, information amount, and user satisfaction
• Build monitoring and discovery mechanisms for extreme content cases, assisting operations through strategies to suppress such cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 4+ years of experience in a consulting background working on strategy and data
• Good logical thinking and communication skills
• Sensitive to data, with excellent data analysis skills
• Strong subjective initiative and self-drive, able to identify and solve problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in revenue, user behavior, and content quality
• Experience in product management
• Experience with data visualization and storytelling
• Familiarity with trendy content in America or specific vertical categories
• Understanding and sensitivity to content security, especially in short video/graphic operations.
