About the position
The Automotive Technician at Ed Payne Motors is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet dealership standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive technology, ensuring that vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification from a technical school or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician preferred
- Proficient in diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
