About the position

The Education Specialist at iLEAD Agua Dulce plays a crucial role in supporting students with diverse educational needs within a general education classroom. Reporting directly to the School Director and under the guidance of the Director of Student Support, the Education Specialist will collaborate closely with classroom teachers to ensure that all students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), receive the specialized instruction they require. This position emphasizes the importance of building effective relationships with all members of the IEP team, including parents, teachers, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. In this role, the Education Specialist is expected to be a creative innovator, bringing fresh ideas and strategies to the classroom to inspire and support the educational needs of all students. The specialist will be responsible for implementing individualized instructional strategies that align with each student's IEP, ensuring that they have access to the curriculum and can achieve their educational goals. This may involve adapting lesson plans, providing one-on-one support, and utilizing various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. The Education Specialist will also be involved in ongoing assessment and evaluation of student progress, collaborating with the IEP team to make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies and goals. Responsibilities
