About the position

The Senior Writer at US Tech Solutions is responsible for transforming technical course content into engaging multimedia scripts that captivate learners. This role involves collaborating with content strategists and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content while infusing creativity and storytelling techniques to enhance the learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for courses to transform technical content into spoken words.
• Own the end-to-end development of scripts for video lectures, readings, and other course materials, incorporating storytelling techniques.
• Create interactive and situational learning activities that immerse learners and allow them to practice their skills.
• Develop companion materials such as exemplars, infographics, takeaway guides, and readings to supplement the learner experience.
• Edit and proofread all materials to ensure clarity, conciseness, and error-free content.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing exceptional writing skills and storytelling ability.
• Proven experience in scriptwriting on technical or complex topics, ideally in educational or entertainment industries.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging prose.
• Strong understanding of storytelling techniques and ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Experience working with subject matter experts and adapting content for different audiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field.
