About the position

The Edge Delivery Architect at Accenture is responsible for translating client requirements into innovative Edge computing solutions that maximize value for both the company and its clients. This role involves leveraging deep technical expertise in Edge computing, IoT, and cloud technologies to design and implement solutions that address modern enterprise demands, particularly in optimizing cloud spend through Edge deployments. The architect will collaborate with various teams and clients to define the architecture of Edge offerings, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective and meet specific business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development of comprehensive Edge solutions across multiple technologies.
• Collaborate with clients during the sales process to refine Edge solutions that reduce cloud dependency and optimize costs.
• Act as a key member of the sales pursuit team, crafting deliverable solutions aligned with client business goals.
• Partner with Offering and Pre-Sales teams to develop Edge solution templates and pricing models.
• Shape proposals for Edge solutions by defining scope, activities, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Architect and design cloud-native Edge applications using technologies from Google, Microsoft, and AWS.
• Work with clients to architect distributed cloud solutions integrating Edge computing for complex use cases.
• Provide technical guidance to teams in creating business cases and supporting TCO calculations.
• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to implement Edge and IoT solutions.
• Provide end-to-end solution leadership, guiding engineers and developers through design and deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in orchestrating complex transformational opportunities.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with private and public cloud architectures or Data & AI.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
• Expertise in multiple cloud platforms and their Edge offerings, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Proven experience deploying large-scale distributed cloud and Edge solutions.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VmWare.
• Understanding of networking and connectivity skills like 5G and zero trust.
• Experience in architecting enterprise-level applications leveraging Edge and IoT technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications at the Expert/Professional level.
• Experience in leading and managing teams in a collaborative environment.
• Proven ability to creatively solve complex problems in cloud-edge architectures.
