Edgewater Design, an award-winning landscape architectural firm, is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. Our firm is located in East Orange, New Jersey, and we pride ourselves on our diverse practice, which encompasses a wide range of projects including campus designs, playgrounds, parks, urban design, large residential sites, commercial landscapes, public spaces, and institutional site improvements. Most of our projects are situated in New York City and the surrounding metropolitan area, providing a vibrant and challenging work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, which includes conducting concept studies, creating graphics and renderings, and preparing construction documentation. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as the role requires balancing multiple projects and deadlines. We are looking for someone who possesses a solid understanding of landscape architecture principles and has the capability to produce high-quality work across the full spectrum of our practice. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and be proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and InDesign. Familiarity with 3D modeling programs like SketchUp and/or Rhino is preferred, as is a basic knowledge of northeast plants. Responsibilities
