We are enhancing our technology capabilities through a new Platform Operating Model, and the Customer Engineering team is key to integrating customer solutions with our offerings, ensuring top-tier availability, performance, and fit within the Fulfilled by Maersk platform. The Customer Engineering Team is seeking a Software Engineer who will focus on configuring and integrating Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and developing EDI solutions. This role requires strong expertise in TMS systems, EDI integration, and system optimization to meet specific operational needs for container drayage, intermodal, full truckload (FTL), and less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation. Key responsibilities include analyzing and configuring TMS systems such as TruckMate, Trinium, and Navigator to address specific operational requirements. The role also involves developing and maintaining comprehensive configuration documentation and procedures tailored to these transportation modes. Collaboration with business users to test, validate, and refine system configurations is essential to ensure they meet operational needs. Additionally, the position requires designing and implementing EDI solutions to facilitate seamless integration and data exchange between TMS systems and external stakeholders, troubleshooting EDI-related issues, and enhancing overall system reliability. The ideal candidate will leverage deep knowledge of TMS architecture, data structures, and configuration options to enhance system performance and functionality, while staying updated on TMS system enhancements and updates to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with transportation management needs. Providing technical guidance and support to team members, actively collaborating with business users, and maintaining detailed documentation for all configurations, integrations, and system changes are also critical aspects of this role.
