About the position

As an EDI Business Architect at Gainwell, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare EDI and technical architecture to develop architectural roadmaps and implement EDI solutions that enhance healthcare operations. This role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and optimizing workflows within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized expertise in healthcare EDI and Edifecs to align business and technical capabilities.
• Develop a comprehensive architectural roadmap that supports the client's business objectives.
• Utilize a structured business architecture methodology to capture essential views of the business.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to assess current capabilities and identify high-level requirements.
• Contribute to governance processes for evaluating adherence to the business architecture strategy.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in business analysis processes and workflows.
• Lead improvements in healthcare EDI operations and enable cross-functional teams to work in parallel.
• Serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance on business analysis deliverables.
• Use technical expertise to solve complex healthcare-related business issues and deliver efficient EDI-based solutions.
• Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, EDI standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in business analysis, business re-engineering, business transformation, financial analysis, business architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience with healthcare EDI standards, Edifecs, and integration technologies.
• Proficiency with Windows applications, Web Services, and .NET framework.
• Familiarity with healthcare business processes, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
