Mainfreight, a global leader in supply chain logistics, is seeking an experienced EDI Developer to join our team at the Carson, California office. This position is crucial for providing internal and external technical support as an Electronic Data Interface resource. The EDI Developer will be responsible for processing failed documents, troubleshooting various issues related to communication and mapping, and working closely with trading partners to resolve EDI-related problems. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, as the developer will interact with both internal contacts and external carriers and vendors to ensure smooth operations. In this role, you will document procedures, provide EDI support for customers and internal users, and troubleshoot transaction errors with suppliers and customers. You will work with EDI/XML/CSV relationships and integrations, testing all steps on customer and partner integrations across all formats. Utilizing Liaison ECS/Delta for EDI mapping will be a key part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and have experience in a web-based environment. The EDI Developer will also be expected to have a basic knowledge of CSV, flat files, EDI, or XML, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to quickly determine root causes and implement repairs. Experience in creating and mapping ANSI standard EDI transactions, understanding of SFTP and AS2 communication protocols, and familiarity with SQL and C# for mapping processes are essential. Additionally, experience with OpenText/Liaison ECS/Delta and Cargowise is a plus, as is experience in the logistics industry.
