About the position

The EDI Ops Analyst at Elevance Health serves as a provider liaison for electronic connectivity, focusing on claims filing procedures and provider education regarding EDI. This role is integral to ensuring efficient communication and connectivity between providers and the EDI system, contributing to the overall improvement of care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development or modification of claims filing procedures based on business and client needs.
• Provides vendor specifications to vendors and clearing houses.
• Responsible for enrolling providers for claims and encounter submission.
• Educates providers regarding EDI processes.
• Works with vendors on the implementation or connectivity related to the EDI system.

Requirements

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in claims or customer service is preferred; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to conduct detailed research of claims and systems reports.
• Understanding of network and telecommunications methodology.
