About the position

The EDI Specialist will play a crucial role in managing electronic data interchange processes within the organization. This position requires a strong IT background and expertise in shipping documentation to ensure efficient order processing and data management. The role involves acting as a liaison between the IT department and users, utilizing various software tools for integration, and ensuring accurate processing of EDI documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all EDI documentation is processed correctly
• Act as a liaison between the IT department and the user community for EDI needs
• Manage order processing system for ship/pack of products
• Utilize ERP and Ecommerce software for integration and data management
• Track mapping software for purchase orders, invoices, and Advanced Ship Notices (ASN's)
• Use SAP Business One, Crystal Reporting, and Alluvia software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field work is required
• 1 year of experience in IT or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of JD Edwards, SQL Server, AS 400, SAP Business One, Alluvia, Crystal Reports, Varsity ShipSoft, TL Ashford software is preferred
• Experience in the Consumer Goods or E-commerce industry is helpful
