The successful candidate will be responsible for offering constructive solutions for product improvement, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and mutual trust among team members. The role requires the ability to consider and adjudicate various perspectives, which is essential for enhancing the overall quality of the intelligence products. In this role, the editor will identify and rectify any missing or incorrect information in the authors' analyses or research. This includes copyediting for overall readability, flow, and organization of the product. Researching and validating content sourced in written products for accuracy and completeness using multiple platforms is a key responsibility. The editor will need to prioritize multiple competing priorities to meet delivery outcomes and complete requests for information across counterintelligence (CI) and counterterrorism (CT) subject areas by specific due dates. Additionally, the editor will recommend areas for further research to authors when the storyline appears to be lacking and provide coordination feedback to external groups regarding their products. Mastery of using MS Word track changes is essential, along with a basic understanding of technical identity threats.
