About the position

The EDM Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the Enterprise Data Management system, ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of the organization's data assets. This position involves overseeing data governance, quality, integration, and lifecycle processes while collaborating with various teams to facilitate the smooth flow of data across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Enterprise Data Management system.
  • Oversee data governance, data quality, data integration, and data lifecycle processes.
  • Facilitate the smooth flow of data across the organization.
  • Ensure data consistency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize the newest released EDM library tool.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 - 6 years of Circuit Design experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of Schematic Development experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of Schematics experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of Siemens experience.
  • Proven experience as a Data Administrator, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality concepts.
  • Familiarity with EDM systems and data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture.
  • Experience with data cleansing, profiling, and data transformation techniques.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Xpedition (Siemens/Mentor Graphics).
  • Experience with data visualization principles and processes.
  • Experience with workflow automation related to the EDM environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with circuit card designs, generating schematics, simulations, and component selection.
  • Motivated to evolve Model Base Circuit Card Assemblies (MBCCA) Deployment.
