About the position

As an EDM (Enterprise Data Management) Field Application Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of an organization's data assets. This position involves managing and maintaining the Enterprise Data Management system, overseeing data governance, data quality, data integration, and data lifecycle processes. You will work closely with various teams to facilitate the smooth flow of data across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Enterprise Data Management system, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and collaborate with IT teams to optimize data management processes.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, including executives, managers, and other users, to communicate performance metrics, trends, and insights.
  • Develop, manage, and improve customized workflows within the EDM system, including coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure adequate dataflow.
  • Provide technical support to EDM users, including responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked questions (FAQs), troubleshooting guides, and other resources to support user self-service, adoption, and proficiency within the EDM environment.

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 Years Circuit Design experience is Required.
  • 4 - 6 Years Schematic Development experience is Required.
  • 4 - 6 Years Schematics experience Required.
  • 4 - 6 Years Siemens experience Required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Administrator, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality concepts.
  • Familiarity with EDM systems and data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture.
  • Experience with data cleansing, profiling, and data transformation techniques.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Xpedition (Siemens/Mentor Graphics).
  • Experience with data visualization principles and processes.
  • Experience with workflow automation including developing, improving, and maintaining automation related to the EDM environment.
