About the position

The Varsity Assistant/JV Girls Basketball Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in organizing and managing the Girls' Basketball program at New Hope-Solebury High School. This part-time position involves conducting practices, motivating student athletes, and instructing them in game strategies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in organizing the Girls' Basketball program.
• Conduct practices and training sessions for the team.
• Motivate and encourage student athletes to perform their best.
• Instruct players in game strategies and techniques.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching basketball at the high school level or equivalent experience in sports coaching.
• Strong communication and motivational skills to engage with student athletes.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as an assistant coach or head coach in basketball.
• Knowledge of current basketball strategies and techniques.
