About the position
The Varsity Assistant/JV Girls Basketball Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in organizing and managing the Girls' Basketball program at New Hope-Solebury High School. This part-time position involves conducting practices, motivating student athletes, and instructing them in game strategies and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in organizing the Girls' Basketball program.
- Conduct practices and training sessions for the team.
- Motivate and encourage student athletes to perform their best.
- Instruct players in game strategies and techniques.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching basketball at the high school level or equivalent experience in sports coaching.
- Strong communication and motivational skills to engage with student athletes.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as an assistant coach or head coach in basketball.
- Knowledge of current basketball strategies and techniques.
