About the position

The Education and Careers Account Executive for Large Customer Sales at Google is responsible for managing relationships with one of Google's largest customers, focusing on digital advertising solutions. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to drive business growth, navigating complex challenges, and providing exceptional client service. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking, data analysis, and relationship-building skills to effectively support clients in achieving their marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and foster long-term C-level relationships with client decision makers and their agency counterparts to build and carry out long-term marketing strategies.
  • Use data analysis, technical expertise, and storytelling to craft compelling executive narratives that position our products as solutions to critical business priorities.
  • Maximize business growth by ensuring high adoption/usage of Google solutions in the market.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients by way of joint business plans.
  • Work with a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects to drive client success and meet their marketing objectives.
  • Become an expert in the jobs and careers space by developing knowledge of market trends and understanding the resume writing, interviewing, and career networking landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with Google Ad Solutions, expertise in video advertising (AI-powered Performance and Video, CTV) and understanding of competitor landscape across traditional and digital media advertising.
  • Ability to tenaciously sell/propose creative technologies across a landscape of diverse decision makers.
  • Proven ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking skills, systems thinking, and the ability to align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
