About the position

The Education Coordinator at Heritage Ranch plays a vital role in providing educational support and coordination for residents in a Christ-centered environment. This part-time position focuses on fostering personal growth, academic progress, and social well-being among boys and their families, ensuring a nurturing and safe atmosphere for transformative experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational monitoring, assistance, coordination, and support to residents in their daily instruction and academic progress.
• Function as the liaison between partner-school and parents.
• Supplement classroom instruction with enrichment activities for residents to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established protocols and guidelines.
• Help residents maintain their independence and dignity while promoting a positive educational environment.
• Document and report any changes in residents' progress or behavior to the appropriate staff members.
• Respect and uphold the rights of residents, including privacy, confidentiality, and autonomy.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching, School Counseling, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills.
• Personal Christian faith and belief in Jesus Christ.
