About the position

The Education Manager of Field and Events at PUIG is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing educational initiatives and event strategies that align with multiple global brand objectives. This position is crucial for ensuring that regional trainers and field teams in the US market are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively represent the brand. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the makeup and fragrance industries, coupled with a passion for these areas. A positive, solution-oriented attitude is essential, as is a preference for detail-oriented work in a dynamic retail environment. The role requires both independent and collaborative efforts, making it essential for the candidate to be self-motivated and possess strong public speaking abilities, particularly in both classroom and virtual settings. In this role, the Education Manager will be responsible for creating and planning field-facing educational materials, including videos, content, and presentations that encapsulate the brand essence and product details for various brands under PUIG's prestige portfolio, which includes Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, and Jean Paul Gaultier. The manager will also coordinate and execute advanced seasonal training seminars, implement educational programs, and manage the operational effectiveness of these programs in alignment with marketing strategies to ensure market growth. Collaboration with the field sales team is critical to align trainings and events with the brand's financial objectives. Additionally, the Education Manager will oversee the planning, allocation, and management of products, collateral, and equipment for ongoing trainings and events. They will evaluate and modify training content to meet business needs while maintaining the training budget and materials inventory. The role also involves conceptualizing and launching elevated event experiences, leading and motivating Beauty Advisors and Makeup Artists, and providing on-the-job education through face-to-face coaching sessions that reinforce seasonal training objectives. This position is integral to building a knowledgeable and effective team that can drive brand success in the competitive retail landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and plan field-facing educational and training materials, including videos, content, and presentations that define the brand essence and outline product details for multiple brands.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute advanced seasonal training seminars.
  • Create and implement educational programs, including launch strategies, pillar support, and field implementation, to build and enforce Train the Trainer initiatives.
  • Manage the operational effectiveness of educational programs in alignment with marketing strategies, ensuring market growth.
  • Collaborate with the field sales team to align trainings and events with the brand's financial objectives.
  • Plan, allocate, and manage products, collateral, and equipment for ongoing trainings and events.
  • Evaluate and modify training content to meet business needs, maintaining training budget and materials inventory.
  • Create and establish education materials on product knowledge, display concepts, sales techniques, promotion programs, and system/procedural requirements.
  • Conceptualize, create, and launch elevated event experiences.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop Beauty Advisors and Makeup Artists, serving as a role model in image and professionalism.
  • Build on-the-job education at counters through face-to-face coaching sessions that reinforce seasonal training objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge, especially in makeup, and experience with US retailers.
  • Responsible for curriculum delivery and strategy, setting team performance objectives, and clear communication.
  • A meticulous multitasker with experience in organizing, designing, and presenting market trainings from brief to execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to customize presentations and incorporate videos.
  • Strong presentation and coaching skills.
  • Experience working within multicultural environments (a plus).
  • Experience in training and presenting at large-scale events.
  • Knowledge of Digital Education.
  • Expertise in Makeup/Fragrance, Luxury/Prestige Brands.
  • Ability to travel roughly 20% of the time.
