About the position

The Education Programs Coordinator at Sophia Teachers is responsible for coordinating the logistics of professional development programs for Catholic educators across the U.S. This role is essential in supporting the mission of strengthening catechesis through effective planning and execution of events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and a team player, ensuring that all aspects of the programs reflect respect for Catholic educators.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate professional development programs in various locations throughout the U.S.
  • Schedule and prepare shipments of materials to programs.
  • Assist with booking venues and catering, and confirm other event-related details.
  • Manage registration spreadsheets and certificates.
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials for diocesan officials, school administrators, and program participants.
  • Serve as an ambassador of Sophia Teachers at programs and conferences.
  • Ensure that every detail of professional development experiences reflects respect for Catholic educators.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to handle last-minute changes gracefully
