The Education Specialist at SAS- Victorville S.T.A.R Academy is responsible for providing personalized academic support to special needs students in a 1:1 home setting. Responsibilities

• Implement tailored academic support by reviewing student records and identifying specific educational needs.

• Design dynamic lesson plans using current teaching methods, ensuring active student participation.
• Assign independent homework to reinforce learning.

Requirements

• Hold a California Teaching Credential (Specialized - moderate/severe or mild/moderate with autism authorization).
• Previous experience in education with a focus on IEP-based services preferred.
• Available to support students with life skills, money management, and time management.
• Successful completion of all employment requirements, including the clearance of mandatory background records.
