Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a contract School Certified Occupational Therapist for the 2024 - 2025 school year in Peoria, AZ. This part-time position focuses on providing specialized support to students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Elementary School settings. The role emphasizes collaboration with advocates and support leaders to enhance the educational experience for children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess students' needs and progress in occupational therapy.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel regarding therapy goals and progress.

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Certified Occupational Therapist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
• Valid School Certified Occupational Therapist credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
