About the position

Our Organization is thrilled to present a brand-new and captivating opportunity for a full-time school psychologist for the current academic school year. The School Psychologists will support students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. In this role, you will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students facing various challenges.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of school psychology to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure their continued growth and development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' academic success.

Requirements

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Active school psychology license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology.
  • Certification from the National Association of School Psychology is preferred.
  • Possess at least a Master's degree or higher in an Educational Psychology-related field.
