About the position
Twinkle Little Star Child Care is seeking experienced EEC Certified Teachers and Lead Certified Teachers to join their team. The role involves nurturing and educating children from 6 weeks to preschool age, promoting empathy and social-emotional skills, and ensuring compliance with EEC regulations. The ideal candidates will be passionate about early education and possess strong communication skills to build relationships with parents and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Inspire, guide, and support children ages 6 weeks up.
- Promote empathy in children through nurturing language and positive guidance.
- Ensure regular feedings, diaper changes, and naps for children.
- Read frequently to children to help them explore new concepts and language.
- Use singing and sign language to communicate with pre-verbal children.
- Design and implement sensory activities for children.
- Create meaningful connections with children to enhance social-emotional skills.
- Aid children in the development of motor skills.
- Administer and evaluate guidance tools and assessments to individualize the curriculum.
- Maintain compliance with Department of Early Education & Care (EEC) regulations.
Requirements
- EEC Certification in Infant Toddler Preschool/Pre-K teaching.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Experience in teaching.
