Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze information to determine eligibility for benefits.
- Monitor changes in household circumstances to ensure continued eligibility.
- Investigate questionable situations and notify appropriate departments of discrepancies.
- Refer customers to appropriate services based on their needs.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in interviewing, investigating, compiling information, and documenting decisions relevant to agency programs.
- Post-secondary education may substitute for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience interviewing clients for eligibility for a program/service.
- Experience with detailed documentation from information received from clients/collateral contacts.
- Experience interpreting guidelines regarding agency programs.
