EHR Application Analyst

About the position

The EHR Application Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, optimization, and support of Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms within the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless clinical and administrative operations by collaborating with various teams to assess needs, troubleshoot issues, and enhance workflows. The position requires independent decision-making and effective time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
• Support clinical and administrative operations related to EHR systems.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to assess needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure efficient workflows within the EHR systems.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 3+ years of experience working with Epic and/or Meditech EHR systems.
• Proven track record of implementing and optimizing EHR systems.
• Experience in healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and administrative processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clinical staff and IT teams.
• Experience in system configuration, data integration, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of hospital business operations and IT applications in healthcare.

Nice-to-haves

• Epic proficiency in at least one module (e.g., ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Orders).
• Meditech proficiency.
