About the position

The EHR Training Specialist I is responsible for conducting, coordinating, and monitoring training for new and existing employees on electronic health and dental record systems. This role involves ongoing follow-up training and evaluating workflows to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies in staff and systems. The specialist will collaborate with management to develop, implement, review, and revise standards, policies, and procedures related to training and system usage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees on electronic health and dental record systems.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• Establish and evaluate workflows to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies.
• Collaborate with management to develop and revise training standards and policies.
• Provide ongoing follow-up training as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AA degree in a related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in a related field required.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
