About the position

The EHS Tool Installation Specialist at WGNSTAR is responsible for ensuring safety and compliance during the installation of tools in the semiconductor industry. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify safety issues, conducting audits, and participating in design reviews to ensure that all safety and quality requirements are met. The position requires a commitment to a compressed work schedule and involves significant physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with relevant parties to identify potential safety issues.
• Drive gating and non-gating tasks to completion.
• Participate in the design and construction phases of the Tool Install Project.
• Audit all documentation for completeness.
• Conduct contractor safety orientation and lock out/tag out audits.
• Review and approve contractor pre-task plans.
• Conduct site safety audits and participate in Tool Installation Design Reviews.
• Attend relevant NGSC meetings and in-person walk-throughs as necessary.

Requirements

• Adhere to all Safety and Quality requirements.
• Ability to read and perform tasks to customer specification requirements.
• Support constant walking/standing, sitting, bending, and twisting.
• Lift and transport up to 35 pounds.
• Excellent communication, lab protocol, and time management skills.
• Support a 12-hour compressed work week schedule.

Nice-to-haves
