About the position

The EKG Rhythm Analysis Technician plays a crucial role in monitoring patients through live EKG telemetry at ARTELLA Solutions. This position involves accurate interpretation of EKG rhythms and timely communication of data to physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care in a 24/7 facility. The technician will work in shifts, contributing to the overall goal of delivering fast and accurate telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, interpret, and edit EKG data using ARTELLA quality analysis tools.
• Notify physicians regarding patient's EKG data based on their notification requirements.
• Call patients to assess symptoms on urgent and symptomatic rhythms.
• Fax/email reports to practices and hospitals as requested.
• Assist patients with supply orders, education, and troubleshooting of devices.
• Maintain constant communication with internal and external customers.
• Represent Artella in a professional manner when speaking with clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EKG Certification.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) preferred or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited to no supervision.
• Prior experience is a plus, but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) preferred.
