About the position
The Experienced Underground Miner will join the El Nino Underground Operations Team at Nevada Gold Mines, focusing on safe and efficient operation of mining equipment while training other employees. This role requires a commitment to safety and effective communication within the team.
Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively operate mining equipment
- Train employees to operate underground equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of underground equipment operating experience preferred
- Shotcrete experience is preferred
- Excellent safety, attendance and work records required
- Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision required
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
