Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a El Super #34 Moreno Valley- Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk! The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service, assisting customers, cleaning, filling and rotating the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers in the Bulk Deli.
• Clean, fill, and rotate cheese and deli displays.
• Replenish product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required.
