About the position
Huntington Learning Center is seeking passionate and positive ELA and Math tutors for elementary and middle school students in East Chicago. This part-time, in-person role involves working during school hours to implement instructional programs and support student learning. Responsibilities
- Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
- Utilize Huntington Learning Center's instructional procedures and curriculum.
- Administer baseline tests at established intervals.
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
- Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Teaching certificate preferred, but not required.
