About the position

The Electric Utility Project Coordinator at Welty Building Co. is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of energy projects, particularly in the areas of transmission line and substation engineering. This role involves preconstruction planning, facilitating site meetings, and ensuring quality assurance and safety on energy sites. Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning
• Facilitating site meetings
• Conducting Last Planner meetings
• Driving collaboration among team members
• Coordinating QA/QC and safety on energy sites
• Providing overall site support for Project Managers

Requirements

• Electrical or Civil Engineering degree preferred (equivalent degree including Construction Management accepted)
• 1 to 4 years of previous experience in the Energy sector
• Experience with 230kV transmission line and substation projects preferred
• Lean experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and facilitation skills
• Safety focused
