About the position

The Electric Utility Project Coordinator at Welty Building Co. is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of electric utility projects, including preconstruction planning, site meetings, and collaboration among project teams. This role emphasizes safety, quality assurance, and support for project managers, contributing to the successful execution of projects in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning
• Facilitating site meetings
• Conducting Last Planner meetings
• Driving collaboration among teams
• Coordinating QA/QC and safety on energy sites
• Providing overall site support for Project Managers

Requirements

• Electrical or Civil Engineering preferred - equivalent degree required (including Construction Management)
• 1 to 4 years previous experience in the Energy sector
• 230kv Reb Transmission line and Substation background preferred
• Lean experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and facilitation skills
• Safety focused

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Lean Construction
• Background in construction management
