We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Hardware Supervisor to lead a team of design engineers focused on advanced electronic modules for next-generation vehicles. This role is pivotal in creating innovative new electronics systems and products while driving engineering excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electronics control modules and systems design and development, along with proven leadership skills. In this position, you will oversee the design, development, and verification of electronic hardware products, including body control modules, displays, clusters, lighting, sensors, and auxiliary control modules. You will help create advanced engineering development processes and methods to optimize design performance, including cost and quality. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, you will understand requirements, viable technologies, and development activities for future vehicle programs. Your technical leadership will be crucial in managing product development execution and achieving schedule timing. You will also assume engineering responsibility for early product development phases, including kickoff, concept definition, product design, breadboards, prototypes, and testing. Reviewing and evaluating test results, you will help identify root causes of problems and provide corrective action recommendations. Leading team design reviews, you will provide technical guidance and expertise to engineers while participating in management meetings and technical reviews. Your innovative ideas will contribute to improving product quality, performance, manufacturability, and cost, while you stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends.
